Managing Comments on WordPress is very simple to do. By standard, WordPress has comment functionality built in.
Most of our website builds do not include comments but you may still get bots and spam on category pages etc.
Step 1 : Finding where to Manage Comments on WordPress
Once logged in, a menu displays down the left-hand side of the dashboard, select Comments.
Step 2 : Moderating Comments
When Managing Comments on WordPress, you will get a few options. You can approve them, place them in spam or bin them.
You can either hover on a single comment and select what you want to do with it. Or select many comments and from the bulk actions dropdown you can select an action.
Step 3 : Stopping spam comments
Stopping spam comments can be done by downloading a plugin such as ‘Askismet Anti-Spam’ which is by the same team that made WordPress.
